Montco Man Bilked Feasterville Firm Out Of $20K: Police

Lower Southampton Police charged a Rockledge man who they say used a business credit card without authorization.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A 39-year-old Montgomery County man has been charged with bilking his Feasterville company out of more than $20,000, police said.

Stephen McGrory, 39, of Rockledge was charged with theft and receiving stolen property and device access fraud. McGrory was arraigned and released on bail after he turned himself into police.

On Jan. 17, Lower Southampton Township Police responded to a business at 2584 W. Maple Ave. in Feasterville for a report of fraud committed by an employee.

An investigation revealed that McGrory used a business credit card between Dec. 20 and Jan. 14 without authorization.

Police said the unauthorized transactions were more than a $20,000 loss to the business.

McGrory was terminated from employment. Police did not name the company where he worked, police said.

Following the investigation, police issued a warrant for McGrory's arrest.
