Neighbors, Police Extinguish Lower Southampton House Fire

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Fast-acting neighbors were able to extinguish a house fire in Ridgeway Estates Sunday before fire crews arrived.

The Lower Southampton Fire Department said fire crews responded to the Ridgeway Estates section off of Bustleton Pike Sunday for the report of a house on fire.

The quick response from the Lower Southampton Police Department with the help of neighbors extinguished the fire before the fire department arrived, fire officials said.

Crews arrived and checked for extension and assisted Bucks County Fire Marshal's Office with their investigation.

Units on the scene included the Feasterville Fire Company, the Lower Southampton Fire Department No.1, Trevose Fire Company Station 4/84, the Southampton Fire Company No. 1, and the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad.
