Network of Victim Assistance celebrates 40 years
NOVA celebrates 40 years of empowering survivors, promoting crime victim rights and creating safer communities in Bucks County.

Staff, friends, volunteers and supporters of Network of Victim Assistance gathered at The Fuge in Warminster on Wednesday, October 15, to celebrate 40 years of helping victims of crime.
The evening also marked the formal conclusion of NOVA’s Voices Against Violence Campaign, which raised over $2.1 Million, exceeding its goal. Campaign co-chairs Mark Schweiker, former governor of Pennsylvania, and Barn Gallery owner Kim Gronendahl personally thanked many of the donors who made the campaign a success.
Many past board members, staff and friends were present, showing their continuing support by bidding on the silent and live auction items.

Daniel J. Reavy, Director of External Affairs for Verizon Pennsylvania, made a special appearance to announce Verizon’s continued support of NOVA’s Healthy Relationships for Teens prevention education program with an additional grant of $10,000.
“Verizon is proud to improve the quality of life for youth and families in Bucks County by empowering the community with innovative tools and resources,” said Reavy. “We’re investing in programs, such as our partnership with NOVA, to touch people’s lives by focusing on education, health and family safety in the 21st century. We understand that education does not begin or end in the classroom.”
