Three Neshaminy High School students entered the regional science research competition at Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks April 3.

According to the district website, the students' participation in this regional fair was based upon placement from the science research competition at Delaware Valley College. Jasmin Tharakan won 2nd place in the Behavioral and Social Sciences division based upon her experiment on Age and Memory; James Tuttle won an Honorable Mention award in the same division for feeding patterns of fish. Students were again interviewed at the competition to ascertain their knowledge and level of competency of their experiments.

The fairs were designed to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
