Passenger Shoots At Car That Honked Horn: Lower Southampton PD

Do you recognize this car? Police say the passenger shot at another driver after he honked his horn at Old Bristol Road and Bridgetown Pike.

A road rage shooting that happened after a driver honked their horn at another car is under investigation by authorities in Bucks County. The driver of the targeted car was not injured; police are trying to locate the other vehicle involved.

Authorities say it happened around 11 a.m. Tuesday at Old Bristol Road and Bridgetown Pike in Lower Southampton Township Police.

Police say the dispute began when the victim honked his car horn at the driver in front of him.

Both cars traveled along Bridgetown Pike, where the victim’s vehicle was then followed to the area of Prospect and East Myrtle avenues in Feasterville. That's where the passenger of the car pictured below fired one round at the victim from a handgun.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the car involved should contact the Lower Southampton Township Police immediately at 215-357-1234 and ask to speak with the Lower Southampton Township Police supervisor.
