Pedestrian Struck By SEPTA train In Lower Bucks County

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Authorities are reporting that a pedestrian has been struck by a SEPTA train early Thursday morning.

Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania reported around 7 a.m. Thursday a pedestrian was struck by SEPTA train 303 just south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Bridge.

Fire crews and medics were dispatched to the area of Philmont Avenue and Dolton Road.

Authorities said that the West Trenton Line is running on delays of 30 minutes.

Officials said all trains will board on the outbound platforms between Neshaminy Falls and Noble Stations.

There were no reports issued at this time regarding injuries to the pedestrian.

The West Trenton Line has stops at Yardley, Woodbourne, Langhorne, Neshaminy Falls, and Trevose stations in Lower Bucks County.
