Philly Man Charged In Wawa Theft In Lower Southampton Twp.
Lower Southampton Police said the man filled up two Wawa store bags with cartons of cigarettes.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Southampton Township Police Department has charged a Philadelphia man with theft at the Wawa convenience store in Feasterville last month.
Following an investigation, Lower Southampton Township Police identified the individual involved in the theft at 03:25 a.m. on Nov. 6 at the Wawa located at 929 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville.
Mohemmed Masad, 28, of Philadelphia, was charged with felony retail Theft and receiving stolen property.

Police said Masad had grabbed two red Wawa carry bags, proceeded to the rear of the un-attended counter, and filled the bags with cartons of Newport Menthol and Marlboro Menthol Green cigarettes and then fled the store without paying.
He was observed arriving in and then fleeing in a grey sedan which has also been identified as a 2016 Nissan.

Police thanked Lower Moreland Police who apprehended Masad following a similar theft.
Masad was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility where he remains until turned over to Bucks County authorities as Lower Southampton Police obtained an arrest warrant for him.
