Police Seek Stolen Minivan In Lower Southampton

The minivan had been parked in front of the residence, unlocked, with the keys in the ignition, according to police.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police in Lower Southampton are asking for the public's help in catching the thief who stole a minivan reported missing on Wednesday.

Police say the vehicle theft happened on the 2000 block of Oakford Avenue, in the Trevose section of Lower Southampton, some time between 10 p.m. on Tuesday and 8:15 a.m on Wednesday.

There, a resident reported his silver, 2003 Chevrolet Venture, bearing registration number JBH3724, had been stolen. The minivan had been parked in front of the residence, unlocked, with the keys in the ignition, according to police.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Lower Southampton Township Police at 215-357-1234. Police also were reminding residents Thursday to lock their vehicles when they are unoccupied and not to leave keys or valuables inside them.
