Police Seek Woman In Check-Cashing Scheme In Lower Southampton Twp.
Lower Southampton Police said the woman may be involved in similar incidents in surrounding townships.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Southampton Police Department seeks a woman for attempted fraud and fleeing and eluding police following a fraudulent check-cashing scheme.
Lower Southampton Police said that at 2:48 p.m. Sept. 14, they responded to the Republic Bank at 305 E. Street Rd., Feasterville, for a report of a fraud in progress.
Police said a woman was at the drive-thru attempting to cash a fraudulent check in the amount of $2,500.

She fled in a black Cadillac XT6 with a plain white paper tag with no visible numbers, police said.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle however she failed to stop and fled in a reckless manner, eluding apprehension.

This incident is believed to be related to crimes in surrounding townships.
