Road Rage, Retail Thefts Top Southampton Crimes

Lower and Upper Southampton Township Police made some arrests over the past few days involving road rage and two retail thefts.

LOWER / UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Lower and Upper Southampton Township Police made some arrests over the past few days involving road rage and two retail thefts.

On Tuesday, Francis Dougherty, 43, was taken into custody following a road rage/aggravated assault incident that occurred on June 15 on the 1200 block of Industrial Boulevard, the Upper Southampton Township Police Department said.

Meanwhile, the Lower Southampton Township Police Department made arrests this week for two retail thefts.

  • On June 19, 28-year-old Nikki L. Collins of Philadelphia was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of the Philadelphia Police Department. Collins was transported to the Correctional Facility in Philadelphia where she was turned over to Philadelphia authorities. She was also charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after she was identified during an investigation of a June 19 theft at ACME on East Street Road in Feasterville.
  • On June 19, 34-year-old Michael A. Disanto of Philadelphia was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Bensalem Police. Disanto was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. He is also charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after he was identified during an investigation of two retail thefts from the ACME located along East Street Road in Feasterville on June 10 and June 19.
