Teen Dies Following Hit-And-Run On Street Road: Report
A teen hit by a truck Monday night has died, NBC10 is reporting.

A Bensalem teen hit by a truck Monday night in Lower Southampton has died, NBC10 is reporting. According to the report, Jess Kurtz, a recent Bensalem High School graduate, has died from her injuries.
Her boyfriend, Will Vanarsdale, was also hit. His current condition is not known. The report says the driver of the truck, who is being sought by police, got out and helped the boyfriend move the girl from the road. He then fled the scene.
According to information from Lower Southampton Police, the pair was struck by a car on Street Road in the area of Philmont Avenue around 8:15 p.m. The vehicle, described as a two-tone maroon and tan or gray pickup truck, hit the pedestrians, then the driver briefly stopped at the scene. The driver, about 30 years old, then got back into his truck and fled eastbound on Street Road into Bensalem, police said.

The car is believed to be a circa 1997 two-door Ford truck, with ladder rack with an attached ladder. The vehicle should be missing its passenger side mirror and have a broken passenger side headlight, police said.
The driver has been described as a black male approximately 30 years old, 6' 1" or 6' 2" with a thin build. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, black shirt and dark jeans, according to police.
