Thief Stole AC Units, Left Beer Bottle: Police

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police in Lower Southampton are seeking a thief they say appears devoted to staying cool during this summer heat wave.

Surveillance video showed the man walking onto the property of a store on Bridgetown Pike at about 9 p.m. He is described as an older white male, wearing a red t-shirt, gray pants, a ball cap and New Balance sneakers.

Police also shared a link to video of the man walking on the property.

Three window air-conditioning units and some computer equipment were stolen, according to Lower Southampton Township Police.

Police say the man also appears to have left an empty beer bottle at the scene of the crime.
