Woman, 20, Killed In Accident On I-95 In Bucks County

One woman died and five people were injured in a car crash Sunday evening on I-95 just south of the Yardley-Newtown exit, according to multiple reports.

The Bucks County Courier Times reported a 20-year-old woman died in the accident. She has not been identified.

The woman was part of a group traveling back from “American Idol” auditions in Philadelphia Sunday, an officer told the Bucks County Courier Times. She still had the Idol ticket in her pocket, the report said.

The one-car accident happened around 7 p.m., 6ABC said.

Three people were ejected from the car, 6ABC said. The Courier Times reported all the victims are described as young adults.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
