2-Year-Old Hospitalized After Mother Leaves Him In Car To Shop At Exton Mall: Report

A 2-year-old boy was hospitalized last week after he was reportedly left in his car by his mother while she shopped at the Exton Sqaure Mall.

According to the Daily Local News, the incident occurred on October 27 at around 4 p.m.

Police were alerted to the situation and immediately removed the boy from the car when they arrived on the scene, the report states.

The boy was in a Jeep that was parked in the garage and out of direct sunlight, police said. He was shaking and very cold when he was found. It was 53 degrees outside.

The mother, Jasmine Parker, 31, of Coatesville, has reportedly been charged with endangering the welfare of children and related counts. She told police she was shopping for 20 minutes to an hour.
