401 On-Ramp Closure Rescheduled for Saturday
The possibility of inclement weather pushed the road work back a day, PennDOT.

The Route 401 on-ramp realignment, originally scheduled for Friday night, has been moved to Saturday because of the risk of inclement weather, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Friday morning.
The one-night closure of the Route 401 (Conestoga Road) on-ramp to U.S. 202 South in Chester County will now be from 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, to 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12.
The ramp work is associated with PennDOT’s $63.3 million project to improve the Route 401 Interchange and widen 2.5 miles of Route 202 to six lanes between the Route 401 and Route 30 interchanges in East Whiteland Township, PennDOT said.

During the ramp closure, Route 401 traffic heading to Route 202 South will be detoured north on Route 202 to the Route 29 North exit, then right on Matthews Road, right on Route 29 and left at Swedesford Road to the ramp to Route 202 South, PennDOT said.
