Charlestown Day 2014, which runs 9am to 2pm, will be held at Charlestown Park (behind the Valley Forge Christian College) at the intersection of Township Line Road and Academic Way in Phoenixville). The day kicks off at 9am with a 5k run through beautiful Charlestown Township and a 1 mile Family Fun Run/Walk through Charlestown Park. At 10am is the Kid’s Dash for all kids 6 and under. From 10am to 2pm, events include: live music, a magician, face painting, bounce houses, the Philadelphia Union Mobile Tour, fire trucks, dance and karate performances, the Boy Scouts’ pine wood derby, more than 50 vendors, food and more.
Charlestown Day 2014 benefits Charlestown Playhouse, a non-profit, parent cooperative, play-based preschool and kindergarten since 1936.
