It’s summer! Time for kids to be bored?!
Not at Schmata Productions’ Summer Experience! If they’ve been to all the other camps, they will love you for this refreshing set of new summer activities.
Beth Chaim’s Schmata Productions is an award winning, nonprofit community Youth Theater dedicated to encouraging self-confidence in today’s kids. The group is run entirely by volunteers and has both a school year musical program as well as a Summer Experience program!

The summer program, for kids ages 5 to 16, features talented staff and degreed professionals who guide students through fun activities, creative projects, incredible challenges, basic team building, and more. But don’t tell them they’re learning; they’ll just think it’s fun!
Unlike other camp programs, you can choose which weeks best suit your kids! Our groups are kept small and each child is made to feel special!

Renaissance Week ~ July 27 - 31 ~
Music, magic, art, juggling & more will be explored as we prepare to participate in the PA Renaissance Faire Youth Day. Join us as we perform for the queen, prepare & partake in traditional Renaissance foods & fun, and host family and friends to share our experiences on our last day.
Young Masters Art Week ~ August 3-7 ~
Youngsters will be inspired by famous artists from a variety of genres as they create their own masterpieces. Guest artists will introduce techniques and many different types of materials and mediums will be available for our students to explore their own creativity. Some of our artist inspirations this year will come from Chihuly, Haring, Mondrian, Monet, Michelangelo, & more! We will conclude with an artists reception our last day.
Theater Experience ~ August 10-14 ~
This is the 8th year for this wonderful program. Students will participate in rehearsals, set & costume design, script writing, & more while developing goal setting, communication, & leadership skills. We will conclude with a show for family, friends, & the community on our last day. This year’s show is from one of our favorite authors, Dr. Seuss!
