East Goshen Resident Killed In Accident, Police Seeking More Information
A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a Dodge Charger early Sunday morning.

An East Goshen resident was killed while walking early Sunday morning, the Westtown-East Goshen Police Association has confirmed.
The incident occurred at around 6:15 a.m. on October 23 near the intersection of West Chester Pike and Waterview Road in East Goshen, police said.
According to authorities, the victim was hit by a 2008 Dodge Charger, which was heading east.

The driver of the Dodge, a 26-year-old male, stopped his vehicle after the accident, remained on the scene, and immediately called for help, police said.
When police arrived, a member of the Goshen Fire Company was performing CPR on the victim. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, ultimately passed away.

Members of the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department were assisted at the scene by members of the Serious Crash Accident Team and also the Goshen Fire Company.
An investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
