The East Whiteland Fire Company will hold a public dedication for their new fire house on October 17, 2015, they announced on their Facebook page.
All members of the public are invited to join in the festivities from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The new station, which opened in June, is located at 205 Conestoga Road in Frazer, and replaces the Planebrook Road station that has been in service since 1958.

Funds were raised over the course of several years to complete the $4.6 million, 18,000 square foot Chester County 5 station.
The old station was in a “deteriorated condition” and was “outdated,” according to Friends of East Whiteland Fire and Ambulance, who organized the fundraising.
