East Whiteland Opens New Fire Station
The new station will empower the fire company with the equipment, room, and support apparatus it needs to be as effective as possible.

East Whiteland Township opened its new fire station on Conestoga Road on Wednesday, saying goodbye to the Planebrook Road station that has been in service since 1958.
Funds were raised over the course of several years to complete the $4.6 million, 18,000 square foot Chester County 5 station.
The old station was in a “deteriorated condition” and was “outdated,” according to Friends of East Whiteland Fire and Ambulance, who organized the fundraising.
