East Whiteland Township Police Chief Eugene J. Dooley was named chief in 2002 and served with Philly police, the Army, and other agencies.

EAST WHITELAND, PA – East Whiteland Township Police Chief Eugene J. Dooley has died at 70 years old, according to a new report.

Dooley's death was confirmed Wednesday by township police, according to Daily Local News.

Dooley was named chief in 2002 and previously served in the Philadelphia Police Department, Rutgers University Police Department, the Army, and on the state Judicial Conduct Board, the outlet reports.
