Exton Contractor Stole Money From Children's Piggy Banks: Report

More than $1400 had been saved up by three children over an extensive period of time.

WEST CHESTER, PA - A painting contractor who stole more than $1400 from children’s piggy banks was placed on probation on Wednesday, according to a report.

David Martini, 34, of West Goshen, paid back the $1,470 he stole from three children while he worked on their Exton home, the Daily Local News reports.

Martini added that he stole the money because he’d become dependent on prescription drugs due to a bad back, the report states.

Assistant District Attorney Andrea Cardamone noted that the matter was “a sad case,” according to the report, and ordered Martini to get back on his feet.
