A lawsuit involving a New Jersey woman against TGI Friday's will not proceed as a class action, a state appeals court has ruled.
Debra Dugan claimed the price $1.59 price difference and the fact that the restaurants don't print drink prices on their menus violated the state's consumer protection laws and exploit customers.

A three-judge panel of the state appeals court recentlyreversed the class action status a judge granted the case in 2012, NJ.com reported.
The panel wrote that people who either ask what the prices of drinks were or who didn't look at the menus when ordering could not necessarily claim damages, the report said.
