Exton Woman Facing Felonies In Chesco Crash That Killed Mother

An Exton woman is facing eight felony counts in connection with a fatal crash that killed a young Chester County mother in November 2017.

EXTON, PA – An Exton woman is facing numerous charges, including eight felony counts, in connection with November 2017 Chester County fatal crash that killed a 30-year-old mother who was driving with her daughter and boyfriend in Uwchlan.

Patricia Lynn Davies, 36, of Exton, has been charged with felony homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence; felony homicide by vehicle; three counts of felony aggravated assaulted by vehicle while DUI; and three counts of felony aggravated assault by vehicle, court records show.

Davies is also facing other charges including DUI, recklessly endangering another person, and various traffic offenses, according to court records.

Davies is accused of hitting and killing 30-year-old Shannon Lafferty on Nov. 17, 2017 on Worthington Road at Caernarvon Drive in Uwchlan, according to the Pottstown Mercury.

Lafferty was driving with her daughter and boyfriend when the crash occurred.

Davies was arrested March 6 and released after posting 10 percent of $25,000 bail at her preliminary arraignment on the same date, according to court documents.

She is slated to appear for a preliminary arraignment on March 20, court records show.
