Former Main Line School Aide Guilty In Student Sex Abuse Case
While working at a Main Line high school as a paraprofessional, the man started a relationship with a female teenager.

A former Main Line high school paraprofessional accused of sexually assaulting a female student several times pleaded guilty to various charges related to the assault recently. He now faces 20 years in prison.
Arthur Phillips, 67, of Wayne, pleaded guilty on Nov. 21 to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, institutional sexual assault, and corruption of minors, court records show.
Phillips was working as an aide at Conestoga High School when the crimes began.

All together, his maximum sentence could be 20 years in prison. He faces a 10-year minimum.

Phillips and the student had sexual contact 10 times in January this year after the two became friends.

The victim told police she refused sex with Phillips and said he forced her, with all of this happening before she turned 16.
Police told the outlet hundreds of messages between Phillips and the student were discovered, most sexual in natures with photos included.
Phillips worked in the school's TV production studio and has been with the district as a paraprofessional since 2006.
