Free Smoke Alarms Available To East Whiteland Residents

Residents can get new smoke alarms installed in their homes thanks to East Whiteland Township.

EAST WHITELAND, PA – East Whiteland Township residents can get new smoke alarms for free thanks to the Township's Department of Codes & Life Safety.

Crews from the department will install smoke alarms for free for residents in need.

Only a limited number of smoke alarms are available and residents must sign a liability waiver prior to installation.

Residents are reminded to test their smoke alarms monthly, to replace batteries when the clocks are changed, and to replace any smoke alarm 10 years old or older.
