Get Out: Summer 4-H Fair and Birdwatching

This weekend, take some time to enjoy the outdoors and head out the Rushton Farm Market, the Summer 4-H Fair, or go Bird Watching on Saturday Morning. The Malvern moms club is holding their first annual yard sale, and Cedar Hollow Inn has a great music schedule on the weekends.

• Where/When: Rushton Farm, 1050 Delchester Road, August 13, 11:00am - 3:00pm.
• Why Go:  Rushton Farm is Willistown Conservation Trust’s six-acre organic farm that grows produce on pesticide and herbicide-free land. The Farm Market will have plenty of fresh, organic produce to choose from on Saturday, so support the town’s sustainable farming project and come browse the selection with family or friends.

• Where/When: 10 Andrews Road, August 13, 8:30am - 12:00pm.
• Why Go:  The Malvern Moms club is getting together to host their first annual yard sale. Come spend the morning browsing through baby and toddler clothing, toys, furniture, and household goods.

• Where/When: 395 Bishop Hollow Road, Newtown Square, August 12, 1:00pm - 8:00pm & August 13, 9:00am - 4:00pm.
• Why Go:  The annual 4-H fair features horse shows, displays, hay rides, contests, and other activities. There will also be book sales and silent auctions to benefit the Delaware County 4-H program. Visit the event website for more information.

• Why Go:  Cedar Hollow Inn has a late-night menu and offers live entertainment every weekend. This week’s artist is Scott Wham, a blues, rock, and soul musician from the Philadelphia area.

• Where/When: 953 Black Rock Road, Phoenixville, August 13, 8:00am -10:00am.
• Why Go: Join this naturalist bird-watching walk through gorgeous meadows and wetlands along the Atlantic Flyway migration route. Learn how to identify bird by color, shape and song. Registration is required for all levels.
