  • The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

    Where/When:
    Feb. 24-26, 7 p.m.; Feb. 26-27, 2 p.m.

    Why Go: The story of Tom Sawyer has entertained and enlightened audiences and readers for years. People's Light's adaption is directed by David Bradley and will run through March 13.

    Pricing: Adults $30, Children 17 and under, $20

  • Guitarist Chris Lebresco performance

    Where/When:
    Wegmans Malvern, Friday, Feb. 25, 6 to 8 p.m.

    Why go:
    Lebresco, an acoustic guitar player and vocalist, has a catalog of over 200 songs from the 70s to today. His Wegmans performance will be appropriate for all ages.

  • Dr. Seuss Story Time

    Where/When: Malvern Target, Saturday, Feb. 26, 9 to 11 a.m.

    Why go: The story time will feature readings, giveaways and coupons. Before you go, find out which Seussian character you are most like by taking a (fairly confounding) quiz on the store's website.

  • Storytime for Babies

    Where/When:
    , Feb. 28,  11 to 11:30 a.m.

    Why Go:
    Reading is fundamental, at every age. At the library, babies up to 23 months and their caregivers can enjoy story time at the library. Registration is required for this event. For more information, call 610-644-7259.

  • "New Leaves" from old books

    Where/When: Tredyffrin Library, Tuesday, March 1, 4:30-5:15 p.m.

    Why go:  Students in grades 5 and 6 are invited to recycle their old books by turning them into new pieces of art. There is no registration required, and materials will be provided. For more information, call 610-688-7092.
