- Where/When: 3 Southwest Avenue, Phoenixville, on Sunday, June 12, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Why Go: Dog owners and their four-legged friends participate in a noncompetitive walk to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The event is open to all, and the walk is followed by fun activities for the whole family to enjoy: demonstrations, games and contests. Visit the event website to register or to make donations.
Family Fishing Program at Hibernia County Park

- Where/When: Hibernia County Park, 201 Wagontown Road, Coatesville, on Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Why Go: Spend a Saturday morning discovering the joys of fishing with the whole family. Instructors Andrew McMullen & Mike Trzaska will teach basic fishing skills like knot tying, casting and baiting. Bring your own bait. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible!

Eagleview Summer Concert Series: Fooling April Honors the Beatles
- Where/When: Eagleview Town, 540 Wellington Square, Exton, on Tuesday, June 14 from 7 to 9 p.m.
- Why Go: This event is part of the 11th annual Summer Concerts on the Square series. Fooling April is a 3-person rock band that has performed in both Philadelphia and New York City, and has performed with world-famous acts like John Mayer, The Strokes, Dido, and Dave Matthews. Come every Tuesday to enjoy the great summer weather and talented musicians!

- Where/When: West Goshen Community Park, Fern Hill and N. Five Points Roads, West Chester on Sunday, June 12 at 6:30 p.m.
- Why Go: This event is part of the West Goshen Community Park summer concert series that features some of the best local musical acts. Ernie & Neal are a family-friendly musical duo from Philadelphia, and have been performing for young audiences since 1999. The event’s rainsite is in the West Chester East High School Auditorium.
- Price: Free. Dry good donations (soap, deodorant, shampoo, detergent, etc) are encouraged.
Movies in the Park: How to Train Your Dragon
- Where/When: Caln Municipal Building, 253 Municipal Drive, Thorndale, on Friday, June 10 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
- Why Go: Caln Township offers fun, family-friendly movie viewing events throughout the summer. Free lawn chairs are available, and movies begin at dusk.
- Price: Free.
