Grab & Go Planner: Workshops and Festivals

May 11-18, 2011, edition.

Not sure where to take the kids this week?  There are plenty of fun and educational workshops and festivals around the Malvern area!  Here are just a few suggestions from Patch:

    Why Go: Children 4 and under enjoy a special Rockin’ Rhythms music program presented by Making Music.

  • Where/When: , May 14, 10:30am - 2:30pm.

    Why Go: Kinder Works is hosting a free festival for Children ages 2 - 12 for an afternoon packed with exciting entertainment and activities.

  • The Mill at Anselma Spring Festival

    Where/When: The Mill at Anselma, Chester Springs, May 14, 10:00am - 4:00pm.

    Why Go: The national historic landmark will present educational demonstrations of straw art.

    Price: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for children.
  • Lowes Build and Grow Program for Children

    Where/When: Lowes on 1250 Cornerstone Blvd., Downingtown, May14, 10:00am - 11:ooam.

    Why Go: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday Kids enjoy a fun morning workshop at any local Lowes Store.

    Why Go: The local public library hosts group reading events for children every week.
