Say hello to the wonderful group at Great Dogs Walking (GDW) located on the Western Main Line! Recently founded by Tom Richards a lifelong educator and dog lover has brought together his passion of dogs and giving back to the community. Every time a dog is walked, a portion of the money spent goes to the foundation Pals for Life, an organization that focuses on bringing animals to people of all ages who need the love of an animal. Pals for Life, founded in 1985, aims to bring the power of animals to the elderly, handicapped, and mentally challenged, people who need love, friendship and something warm and furry to hug.
Through his own therapy dog Gus, Tom has seen the wonders and joy that dogs can teach and the love we learn. Certified in pet first aid and CPR and a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Great Dogs Walking aims to bring peace of mind to busy pet parents around the area. Great Dogs Walking believes that every dog is different. Just like people, dogs have individual personalities and diverse learning experiences. Great Dogs Walking recognizes that each dog GDW walks is to be treated as a unique canine that is loved and cared for by our highly trained team. Great Dogs Walking knows that our job is to bring joy to each dog GDW walks and peace of mind to each owner, pet parent and family GDW serves.
