Great Valley Prepares Dispatches Phoenixville, Prepares For Next Battle

Can Great Valley replicate last year's championship form?

Great Valley High School dominated the 4th quarter of Saturday’s season opener and beat Phoenixville by a comfortable margin, 28-19.

Losing 20-14 heading into the game’s final frame, Great Valley was propelled by quarterback Robert Geiss, who went went 6 for 8 with 112 yards and a touchdown in the final quarter after a rocky start to the game.

The Patriots suffered the loss of 31 graduating seniors from a team that won the District 1 Class AAA championship in 2014, and are looking to replicate that success with a team comprised almost entirely of underclassmen.
