Highlights of this two million dollar project include an enhanced nursery, a music suite, an enlarged Lower Level Fellowship Hall with natural light and a new kitchen, a modern fellowship area with coffee bar and conversation space on the Main Level, new meeting/office space, and improved traffic flow. Pancoast and Clifford, Inc. is the general contractor, James S. Carr, AIA and Associates, LLC is the architect, and DNB First is providing financial services.

Covenant Church is a spiritual home where God’s love has the run of the house. Senior Pastor Dr. Jim Moyer said, “Thanks to God’s blessings, our “home” needs to be expanded. We are blessed with a welcoming, compassionate, and inclusive congregation that is committed to boldly celebrating the love of God and to continuing and expanding our active children’s programs, youth ministries, adult ministries and outreach programs that serve both the congregation and the greater community. ”

The church is blessed with an incredibly gifted staff. Rev. Patty Stoltzfus serves as music pastor and guides the Stephen Ministry program that provides spiritual friendships for those experiencing challenging or tough times. Rev. Sue Carr and the board of deacons provide congregational care and visitation to those homebound. Dave Dzwonczyk leads the youth ministry team that serves an active middle and high school youth group program. Jen Langlois coordinates the children’s programs.

Earlier this spring, Covenant Presbyterian Church dedicated the new Community Life Center. The Life Center, located at 384 Lancaster Avenue houses a community center designed to serve all ages, but especially our youth. The building is also the new home of The People’s Pantry at Church Road, which serves to provide food and basic necessities to those in need in the immediate area.

Covenant Presbyterian Church seeks to encourage and affirm each person’s faith journey. We believe that faith expands in community. Our growing church family is open, diverse, and welcoming. We strive to be gracious, generous, and humble as we celebrate our faith, serve others, and discuss matters that touch our everyday lives.”

Worship services are held on Sundays at 8:30am and 10:30am in the summer (during the school year: 7:30am, 8:30am, and 11am with Sunday School at 9:45am). Covenant Presbyterian Church is a member of Donegal Presbytery, PC (USA).
