Hanging Body In Chester County Park Identified

The victim of a grisly apparent suicide, who hung in a public park as children walked to school, has been identified.

WEST CHESTER, PA - Police have identified the man who was found hanging dead from a swingset in a park in West Chester on Monday morning.

William James Little, 56, of East Miner Street, was a victim of an apparent suicide, according to the Daily Local News.

No foul play was involved in his death.

Little was found shortly before 7 a.m., just in time for police to notify local schools.

Several buses were re-routed, and police attempted to block the body from the view of passerby, especially children on their way to school.

Little’s body was found in the northwest corner of Marshall Park, near the corner of Matlack Street and East Marshall Streets.
