Malvern Art Project Brings History To The Public Eye
Another look at one of the biggest stories of 2015. What is Abraham Lincoln's connection to Malvern?

MALVERN, PA -A blank page of a wall has been prepped in downtown Malvern. What will replace it?

Local artist Carrie Kingsbury will start sketching on the wall on Thursday, inspired by a historical photo of a horse and buggy passing beneath a Malvern bridge.
The sketch will also include the passing train of President Abraham Lincoln’s funeral procession, which passed through Malvern.

The sketch will be at the corner of Warren Avenue and King Street, on the side of the planned Malvern Saddlery building.
The project, organized by Malvern Community Arts, is their sixth community-funded project.
Kingsbury is known for her work with Promiseland Murals.
