Malvern Officials Rescue Boy Left In Hot Car: Report

A woman left her child in her car with the windows up while going into a store during the hot weather Monday afternoon, according to a report.

EMT's from Malvern Fire Company saw the boy,pushed down the windows, and rescued him, the report states.

The incident occurred in the Venice Pizza parking lot off of Route 30, the Daily Local News reports.

The mother reportedly said she had to do some paper work at a nearby office building.

She told police she was only gone for five minutes and that she did not want to wake up the child, who was sleeping.
