Malvern Preparatory School is proud to present its 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program award winners. In this year’s competition, Malvern Prep has one Semifinalist and nine Commended Students.
More than 1.5 million students took the 2013 PSAT, and of those, only 16,000 scored high enough to be designated Semifinalists. These students may continue in the Merit Scholarship competition and advance to Finalist standing by meeting additional requirements. Only 34,000 additional students across the nation are recognized as Commended Students, those who scored in the top five percent in the nation on the PSAT.
