Social media workshop, vendors, business building, networking, happy hour

Tracy Davidson from NBC 10 in Philadelphia will be the keynote speaker for this year’s Women’s Business Connection of Chester County (WBC) Women’s Business Expo on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Davidson will present, “Making Connections That Count: Focus Your Attention, Focus Your Life.”

The day begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Downingtown Country Club, with an educational workshop, “Social Media for Business,” presented by social media specialist, Holly Norton. The exhibitor showcase will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, and again, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibitor showcase is free to attend. Finally, a free evening membership appreciation and networking happy hour will round out the day from 5 to 8 p.m. (comped appetizers courtesy of the Downingtown Country Club plus a cash bar).

“This event is a huge success every year,” according to WBC President Lorie Marrella. “We anticipate a larger attendance this year, and more opportunities for women to grow their business and expand their knowledge. Many thanks to Main Line Today for being our Presenting Sponsor.”
