Conestoga graduate and Paoli native Amy Rohn is doing big things for the volleyball squad at Washington College.

Rohn, a junior, is a defensive specialist at Washington, a Division III school based in Chestertown, Maryland.

The school said that she played in 23 matches this year for the team, including starting one game against Swarthmore on October 4.

She had the best year of her career this fall, earning 98 digs and 20 service aces throughout the season. She had a season-best 11 digs in a four-set win over Rutgers-Camden on September 3 and notched 10 digs at Dickinson on October 15, the school said. In 52 career matches, she has 177 digs and 35 service aces.

Rohn, an English major, also earned a spot on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the second time. Honor Roll students must carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
