Police Seek Suspects Who Used Stolen Credit Cards At Malvern Target

Police need help locating two suspects who attempted to use stolen credit cards at a Target in Malvern.

Radnor Township Police are seeking the public's help to identify a couple they say were involved in a "distraction theft" at a local sporting goods store.

According to police, an employee at Wayne Sporting Goods said on March 15 he began receiving fraud alerts for several of his credit cards. He then discovered his wallet was missing from a back room at the store that is not open to the public.

Police accessed in-store camera footage, which shows a black man in a grey sweat suit come into the store with a black woman shortly before the fraud was noticed. The video shows the woman distracting an employee while the man goes into the back room to take the wallet.

Within the hour, the same couple is seen at a Target in Malvern trying to make a $2,000 purchase using the stolen credit cards. They leave the store and drive away in a small white sedan.

Anyone who can identify the suspects in this video should contact Radnor Police at 610-688-0503.
