Reward Offered For Main Line Woman's Fatal Beating Info

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering $35K for info that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fatal beating.

A large reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the 2016 homicide of a Main Line woman that has remained unsolved for more than a year.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $35,000 reward for the information on the death of Denis Barger, 62, of Berwyn, that occurred in 2016.

The commission and Tredyffrin Township Police are asking anyone in the public who may have information on Barger's fatal beating death to come forward.

Barger was found dead in her home at 970 Heatherstone Drive in Berwyn at about 9:04 a.m. June 17, 2016.

Officers responded to the home for a welfare check per the request of Barger's brother.

When they got inside the home, Barger was found beaten to death. The medical examiner's report ruled her death a homicide by blunt force trauma.

Authorities believe Barger, who was widowed a few months before her death, was targeted.
