Route 202 Lanes Closing Nightly In East, West Whiteland Twps.
Both north and southbound lanes will see closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. starting Monday night and lasting through Thursday.
Work on Amtrak-spanning bridges in Chester County is set to begin Monday night in East and West Whiteland townships, according to PennDOT. The work will affect U.S. Route 202.
PennDOT said Route 202 will have lane closures on both north and southbound lanes between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Monday, May 8 through Thursday, May 11.
The closures will affect the road between the U.S. 30 and Boot Road interchanges, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area as slowdowns may occur.
Drivers may also want to find alternate routes.
