I originally came up with the idea of starting a Seven Summits Racing Series as a creative way of helping me achieve my lifelong quest to climb the highest mountain on each continent. Already having climbed four of the seven summits, these last three are very expensive. I was going to have 100% of what I raised go to my Seven Summits Climbing Fund. Somewhere along the way several friends started telling me about T&E Care and the great work they do for those in need locally. They asked if I would consider having T&E Care be the beneficiary of our annual Seven Summits Turkey Trot. The problem with that is that my list of potential charities for the Turkey Trot is already 3-4 deep. So I have offered to host these six additional races and split the proceeds after expenses 50/50 with T&E Care. I am excited to work with T&E Care to make life a little bit better for our neighbors in need. The tentative dates for the rest of the series are February 21, March 15, May 25, September 7, and October 11. Awards to the top 2 overall M/F plus top 2 in each age group.
