Two faculty members from the Immaculata University Division of Nursing were recognized by Main Line Today magazine with the 2021 Excellence in Nursing Award and honored at a dinner along with the other awardees from the nursing profession. This signature event honors more than 400 nurses from Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.

Jane Tang, PhD, RN, NE-BC of Exton, Pa, chairperson of the division of nursing and professor, and Pamela Hudson, DM, RN, of West Chester, Pa, MSN program director and associate professor of nursing, were selected in the education category.

“It is an honor to be named to the Excellence in Nursing 2021 by the Main Line Today magazine, an award recognizing distinction in various areas of nursing. It is especially impressive as we are celebrating the Year of the Nurse and Midwife designated by the World Health Organization,” states Hudson. “Although this is an award recognizing personal achievement, it really honors the women and men who care for patients daily during this difficult pandemic, with tireless dedication.”
