WEST WHITELAND, PA – Children and adolescents at the Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services center have some new gear thanks to the good folks at the West Whiteland Township Police Department.
Police from the department donated 15 new bikes and helmets to the people at the center.
"This is a great opportunity to allow these bikes to be used by students who normally wouldn’t have a chance to have a bike or have access to one," West Whiteland Township Police Department Chief Joe Catov, Jr. said. "It gives them an opportunity to experience what it’s like to have a bike – and to go out and enjoy life."
