Crews will be working on installing shielding on the underside of the northbound U.S. 202 bridge over Amtrak and the adjacent ramp, and begin demolition of half the bridge’s concrete deck and parapets, PennDOT said.
Eastbound U.S. 30 motorists should expect backups and slow moving traffic when approaching the ramp to northbound U.S. 202.

In addition, motorists are advised that one-of-the-two lanes on the ramp from southbound U.S. 202 to U.S. 30/Exton Bypass remain closed for the replacement of deteriorated concrete pavement.
Southbound U.S. 202 motorists will encounter backups approaching the U.S. 30 Interchange, especially during peak travel times.
Drivers heading to the U.S. 30/Exton Bypass and Business U.S. 30 should remain in the right lane on southbound U.S. 202 approaching the interchange, leaving the center and left lane for motorists continuing south on U.S. 202.
The work is part of a $26.4 million project to complete the final phase of the U.S. 202 Section 300 improvement project, which includes the rehabilitation of two U.S. 202 bridges over Amtrak rail lines.
