Today's riddle: What is something you always have, but also leave behind? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• PSSAs resume Wednesday after online system outages disrupted testing for many Pa. schools Tuesday (lancasteronline.com) — Manheim Central students were among those affected when an online system outage forced several Lancaster County districts to cancel Tuesday’s first day of PSSA testing, though only minor issues remained by Wednesday. Statewide, schools are now required to give these standardized tests digitally, and local administrators say the glitches raised concerns about the reliability of this year’s results.

• The marimbist and inventor who put mallet percussion on the map (wrti.org) — A pioneering marimba designer and performer, Clair Omar Musser, was born in Manheim and is now honored with a new headstone in a local Mennonite cemetery. His inventive instruments and globe-touring marimba orchestras helped inspire today’s mallet percussion scene and a major research center at Kutztown University. Recent events there, including Gary Burton’s visit, highlight how Musser’s Lancaster County roots shaped a worldwide musical legacy.
