• District 1 Track and Field: With new focus, Marple's Rimple sprints to states (delcotimes.com) — Marple Newtown sprinter Justine Rimple has qualified for the PIAA state championships in the 100 meters after a personal-best run at the District 1 meet in Coatesville. The senior, who narrowly missed states in the long jump last year, refocused her training on speed and mental preparation, dropping jumps this postseason. She’ll head to Shippensburg next week determined to finish her high school career strong.
