• More Delaware County communities address data center zoning (delcotimes.com) — Marple Township officials are advancing a detailed new zoning ordinance that would tightly regulate where and how large data centers can be built, including setbacks, water use, noise, and decommissioning plans. The proposal, now back with county and township planners, would confine data centers to light industrial zones and require extensive environmental, traffic, and economic impact studies before approval.
   

• Philly man pleads to 5 cases, including theft, possessing a shiv (delcotimes.com) — A Philadelphia man has pleaded guilty in multiple Delaware County cases, including a 2025 theft at the Marple Walmart on South State Road, and received largely time-served sentences plus probation. As part of his sentence, he must repay Walmart, avoid all Delaware County Walmarts, undergo evaluations, and provide a DNA sample while he addresses remaining legal issues elsewhere.
