Celebrating America’s 250th birthday in Haverford Township
Grand Finale choreographed lighted DRONE SHOW to illuminate the evening sky. Plus Live Music, Food, Crafts, Inflatables. 
WHEN: Saturday, August 29, 2026. Gates open 11 am. Festival 12pm to 9:00 pm. Inflatables Noon to 7pm. Drone Show 8:30.

2026 Marks the 250th Anniversary of America. In Haverford Township we are celebrating the semiquincentennial milestone with a FREE admission festival.
This signature event, ILLUMINATION 250 Festival will take place Saturday, August 29th at the Haverford High School Football Stadium with a Spectacular Lighted Choregraphed 300 Drone Show after a day of Live Music, dancing, children’s activities, crafters, food trucks and more.

IF YOU GO:
•	FREE Parking. Unmetered curbside street parking is available in the neighborhoods around the site. Please do not block driveways. Parking is permitted on the High School and Middle School lots. •	Parking is also available in municipal lots, Haverford Township building, Grace Chapel on the corner of Eagle and Darby Road. Uber, Lyft rideshare, is suggested to minimize long walks to the event. Limited Handicap spaces are available on all school and municipal lots. •	Alcohol, fireworks and weapons are not permitted to be brought into the field or elsewhere on the school property. •	Bicycles, E-bikes, skateboards, skates and scooters are not permitted inside the festival grounds. They must be parked in designated areas by the Middle and High Schools. •	Baby strollers are permitted. •	Pets are not permitted on festival grounds. •	Seating - Bring your own chair or blanket for seating on the field. Shade tents and umbrellas are permitted along with weights to secure them. Stakes of any kind are not permitted on the artificial turf field. Puncturing the artificial turf field with anything is Not Permitted.

Take a Free Tour of a Victorian Splendor on the Delaware! The Grundy Museum is a jewel of historic house museums on the banks of the Delaware River in Historic Bristol Borough. Fully restored from 2018-2025 and features rooms decorated in different styles spanning the Rococo Revival to the Aesthetic Movement to the Edwardian period, the Museum was awarded the Victorian Society in America Award for the exemplary restoration and rehabilitation. This landmark preserves the legacy of the Grundy family and offers visitors a unique glimpse into life during the Victorian Era. The Museum’s extensive collection is highly unusual for a historic house museum as almost all the items belonged to the Grundy family. The museum serves as a cultural destination for those interested in antiques, local history, and architecture. Docents take visitors through the meticulously restored rooms, showcasing the elaborate furnishings and sharing stories of the Grundy family’s contributions to Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania, and national affairs. Visitors can also enjoy the expansive gardens and riverfront vistas. Visit throughout the year for special programs, exhibits, and holiday events, including the annual Victorian Holiday House.
